Ask any great chef the secret to success and they’ll tell you it’s all about the best ingredients. With every one of our dishes being homemade from scratch, our chefs can feature the finest, freshest seasonal produce, sourced purely from our Norfolk and Suffolk suppliers. Being proudly independent, we love to celebrate our locality by creating dishes with local delicacies including Cromer Crab, Binham Blue and Smoked Dapple Norfolk Cheeses and Lowestoft Shellfish.
Home Baked by Our Early Bird!
Meet Judy, our Baker, the main reason we have never ever bought-in a cake from elsewhere since the day we opened! You have to be up extremely early in the morning to beat Judy to work, who gets stuck into making all our cakes, scones pastries whilst the rest of the world’s still sleeping. Many of her recipes are closely guarded secrets, so please don’t try to ask!!!

Even our simplest dishes receive the same love and attention to detail as our more intricate items on our menus. Our chefs really do pack our homemade soups with flavour and they love to explore exciting seasonal creations along with favourite classical combinations.

Where do we even start with introducing our beautiful mouth-watering desserts?!? Combine the skill and passion of our chefs with the ultimate larder of our farm shop, brimming with beautiful seasonal fruits and ingredients, and you have a sweet-toothed marriage made in heaven! Our constantly evolving dessert selection truly embraces our kitchen’s creativity, celebrating the latest in-season flavour along with our takes on old fashioned favourites.
