Fresh, Local Christmas Trees, Norwich
For one of the best selections of top quality Christmas Trees in Norwich and South Norfolk, come to Green Pastures! From the last Friday in November we will have a fantastic choice of fresh-cut, premium grade Christmas trees for you to choose from, right here in our garden centre just outside Norwich.
Top Quality Without the Top Prices
We pride ourselves on sourcing the very best top-quality Christmas trees, expertly grown by our trusted local growers. We believe a Christmas Tree is such an important visual focal point at a special time of year. We source only the highest quality grade trees from our grower, ensuring everyone is full, bushy and healthy and as ready as it can be to endure the festive season in your home. Despite our reputation for our quality, we are always told what great value our Christmas Trees are when compared to a similar standard of tree elsewhere.

All our Christmas Trees are sourced from a trio of three local Christmas trees farms close to Norfolk who have supplied us for many years. Our cut trees are only felled just a day or two before delivery direct from the field, unlike the majority of trees on the market, guaranteeing us the freshest trees possible.

If your eyes are bigger than your car-space, we are pleased to deliver a local Christmas Trees delivery service if you live in the Norwich, Norfolk and North Suffolk (charges apply). We welcome telephone orders for customers unable to visit us personally and our online shop will provide a useful reference of our range of trees and prices.
Our NEW CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE offers a safe and easy way to purchase your Christmas tree. Select and purchase your tree from our menu of Christmas trees and our conscientious staff will pick and wrap it for you and have it waiting in a safe and convenient location on our car park for your collection.
Christmas Trees

So local, they arrive here on a tractor!

The Norway Spruce is the traditional Christmas tree which fills your room with that unmistakable “smell of Christmas!” The majority of our “Norways” arrive from the second week of December, all of them grown just half an hour away and delivered here straight from the field.
Pot Grown and Containerised Christmas Trees arrive at Green Pastures in the middle of November, ready for those early Christmas celebrations! “Pot Grown” trees have spend their whole lives in the pot and so have a complete root-system so, depending on their care, have best chance of long-term survival for future years. “Potted” (or “Containerised Trees” ) have been grown in the field and have recently been dug (with part of their root system intact) and potted into a container. These trees have normally been grown slightly differently to pot grown trees and are normally bushier, fuller trees.

Christmas Tree Care
Looking after your cut Christmas tree correctly can be just as important as choosing the right one in the first place. Do it correctly and your tree will be a thing of beauty, no messing! Imagine your Christmas tree as a cut flower. Just as your bunch of carnations need water to prevent them wilting straight away, your tree needs it too!
Firstly, you’ll need to make a fresh cut at the base as the original one has probably started the healing process already. Cutting the bottom inch or two off the base of your tree just before its stood in water will allow it to “drink”, replacing the water lost through its needles into the dry atmosphere.
