Norfolk Wines

Who would have thought a few years ago that Green Pastures would be in the middle of a hot bed of English Wine production here in South Norfolk! With English wines coming to the fore, our little corner of Norfolk is home to some of the best up and coming vineyards and indeed the one of the world’s best white wines grows less than 3 miles from here!

Winbirri Wines

Famously home to Winbirri’s Bacchus, the Platinum Winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards, Norfolk’s Winbirri Vineyard from Surlingham needs little introduction. Just a stone’s throw from Green Pastures, there’s little chance of us ever running out of Winbirri’s elegant Norfolk wines so long as owner and winemaker Lee Dyer has some left in his cellar!

Whenever possible, we stock the following Winbirri Wines;

Chet & Waveney Valley Vineyard

Green Pastures is enormously proud to be part of the emergence of our village’s very own vineyard here in Bergh Apton! From seeing the vines planted over a decade ago by fellow “Berghaptonites” John and Bridget Hemmant, its been fascinating watching the vineyard grow and we were over the moon to become their first stockist. Now John and Bridget are fully established on both the Norfolk and the English Wine map, known most of all for their sparkling wines which we rightly or wrongly love to refer to as our very own “Berghapton Bubbly!”

Whenever possible, we stock the following Chet Valley Vineyard Wines;

The following British Wines which are available in our farm shop are crafted in Norfolk using imported grape juice.

Three Mills Wines

Our Three Mills wines are produced in Cawston, Norfolk. The easy drinking varietals range are surprisingly very affordable given the quality. We offer Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio Blush and Merlot.

The fantastically fruity Three Mills Fruit Fusions “Tropical” and “Summer Berry” make beautiful summer drinks either on their own or as spritzers. You will find in our farm shop in the warmer months of the year.
The Three Mills Botanicals Range have been crafted to be very versatile wines in their own right or used as spritzers or mixers. Inspired by popular gin flavours. Available as “Cucumber, Juniper & Lime” and “Rosé, Strawberry & Elderflower”.

Proudly Vegan

It can be hard to know exactly whether a wine is vegan or not without studying the label carefully. With a Proudly Vegan Wine you can be 100% sure, even including the ink and the glue on the labels. These wines are registered by the vegan society and are available as a Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc
