Since opening in 2015, our restaurant has continued to surprise visitors with the exceptional quality of our food — often described as “far beyond what you’d expect from a garden centre.” Our talented team of chefs prepare every dish fresh to order, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients from our farm shop and trusted Norfolk suppliers. We’re proud to have set such high standards for ourselves, recognised through multiple awards, including twice at the EDP Norfolk Food Awards, where we received the prestigious title of Norfolk’s Best Restaurant.

Afternoon Tea of the Year 2024

Our unique afternoon teas have become one of the highlights of visiting Green Pastures. Beautifully presented on tiered stands, they feature a tempting selection of freshly made sandwiches, homemade cakes and warm scones with clotted cream and jam. Served with your choice of tea or coffee, it’s the perfect treat to share with friends or family. We were delighted that this dedication to quality and presentation was recognised at the Garden Centre Catering Awards, where Green Pastures proudly won Afternoon Tea of the Year 2024.

Our garden centre provides a beautiful backdrop when dining on our restaurant patio during the warmer months, surrounded by colourful plants and seasonal blooms. We’ve now created a stunning all-weather outdoor garden dining room beneath a light and airy canopy, allowing you to enjoy the same relaxing atmosphere whatever the weather. Restaurant Opening Times

The Gardeners Kitchen Restaurant is open inside our garden centre, between 9am & 4.00pm Mon to Sat and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. We serve breakfasts, lunches, tea, coffee, homemade cakes and pastries.
