Lockdown Update

GREEN PASTURES LOCKDOWN 2.0 UPDATE | 2nd November 2020

1. WE’RE HERE TO HELP! As always, it will be our over-riding aim to help our local community through this difficult time.

2. OPENING; Our Farm Shop, Post Office and Garden Centre will remain OPEN 7 days a week throughout lockdown. Please see our website for opening hours. Our restaurant will close as an “Eat In” Restaurant as from Thursday 5th Nov for 1 month.

3. TAKEAWAY An expanded take-away menu from our restaurant will be introduced in the coming days.

4. NEW WEBSITE; We have been furiously working on a new website since Lockdown 1.0, which we have now launched although not yet fully completed. This contains considerably more information than our previous site and this will be a useful reference for everyone.

5. CLICK & COLLECT WEBSHOP; We have already begun loading products onto our site where you can order and pay online for collection at Green Pastures. This now gives us a much more efficient process which means we can action your orders quickly!

6. DISCOUNTED LOCAL DELIVERIES; We continue to offer a discounted local delivery service (please see our website for details). Presently orders will need to be placed over the telephone (01508 480734) or email. We hope to extend our web-shop to offer online ordering and payments for deliveries in the near future. In the meantime, our website will still provide useful information regarding many of our products and this will increase daily.

7. HOME DELIVERY ROUTES; With the increased demand that Lockdown 2.0 will bring, we will revise our delivery routes again to increase frequency from our current service which we had reduced in the summer.

8. HOMEBAKING AND READYMEALS; In addition to take-aways, our restaurant continues to produce a good selection of homemade pies, quiches and cakes which will shortly be joined with soups and ready-meals; all available through our farm shop

9. CHRISTMAS GIFTS; We have been building an exciting and varied range of Christmas gifts and the majority of these should be available from next weekend including our highly popular homemade hampers. These are available to purchase from the garden centre and farm shop and many of them online too.

10. Finally, beyond Green Pastures, we urge you all to support your retailers as much as you possibly can this winter. Many now offer alternative methods of shopping in some form or other if you are unable to venture out. Please, please look beyond the easy of option of amazon and the like.
