If your summer bedding displays are already looking tired you’re probably champing at the bit to get some brand new colour into your garden. Fear not, for this week’s seen the arrival of a brand new season of bedding plants, perfect for brightening up your pots, patios and garden for the autumn, winter and even spring months ahead!
Winter Flowering Pansies are perhaps a slightly confusing and misleading name, but never the less one of the best garden plants on the market. If you plant them over the coming weeks you’ll not only be enjoying those winter blooms, but you’ll be rewarded with colour from now right until later spring next year.
Violas are the pansy’s little brother and what their smaller blooms lack in size, they more than make up for in numbers! Whilst a little shy in the winter months they bloom their hearts out in both autumn and spring, adding tremendous weight to a display containing pansies. Whenever we plant pansies we nearly always include violas too as they complement each other perfectly.
Pansies and violas are both available in a tremendous range of colours and combinations these days and we’ll be including as many as we can for you to buy over late summer and autumn.
Last year’s prices have still been held this year!
