A Fantastic Pumpkin Day

October 31st was a truly fantastic day at Green Pastures.  It was great to see so many of our customers and new visitors enjoying themselves!  Dan’s Pumpkin Soup proved to be a firm favourite and our pumpkin carving team were busy all day helping children and parents make their lanterns.  Ray Noakes, the pumpkin sculptor, was a huge hit and produced some amazing creations from a tiger to a Star Wars Deathstar!  Bob Rumsby took over in the afternoon and made some wonderful creepy crawlies including a pumpkin centipede and spider!

We were incredibly impressed by the entries to our Pumpkin Pie competition, however, a winner had to be chosen and Sam Atkins was the deserving recipient of the prize of a Sunday Lunch for 4 in The Gardeners Kitchen.  Beautiful Face Painting was provided by Cat’s Creations, even Alwyn joined in and came away with a pretty pink face that we won’t forget in a hurry!
